What Will the American Economy Look Like in 2022?

The American economy is currently experiencing a massive shift from the traditional economy to a digital economy. In June of 2017, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that more than 53% of jobs were in the service industry.

With this shift, many people are trying to figure out what our economy would look like in 2022 when it’s estimated that over 75% of the population will be employed in some form of digital content or service. What would our economy look like if we had a digital society? Before we get ahead of ourselves and start making predictions, let’s take a look at what we can expect from a digital culture in 2022.

Within the next few years, there will likely be an increase in jobs for people who are fluent with technology and understand how data is gathered and interpreted. This is because most companies now use digital means to find their customers and target advertising campaigns. There will also be an increase.
