This is the most horrific bs I have ever heard. You all must be on glue! I pay massive amounts of money to use Grammarly and several other applications that all use AI. AI is immersive and touches every part of Medium “accept” for the authentic authors! How is that possible today with computers? I have 1000 stories to add a disclaimer to because you people don't understand what AI IS! It is in everything online, from Captcha to your actual device. How will it aid writers when the medium claims that every writer should use Grammarly? This is insane. I smell a massive lawsuit coming. I think it's time we writers higher a lawyer for a class action and all get our money back from Medium explicitly telling us to use Grammarly, then coming out and saying AI is not accepted! After thousands of dollars invested into writing tools- plus, I don't make any money and have never been chosen for distribution. Things constantly change. A wise person told me once that if you pay a fee, you are a customer. All we are is the membership fee we pay. I make roughly 30$ a month after years of writing high-quality content. I have had to pay and pay and pay to play and keep up with all the evolutionary technology. Oh, sugar, my Grammarly auto-corrected. Let me disclaim I have AI assisting me.
What about the thousands I have spent on software to help design good-quality content? Now I must go through a thousand stories knowing I'm shadow banned. This will be the subsequent Twitter lawsuit in the making. Anyone that agrees that this is not right now is told not to use AI WHEN WE WERE RECOMMEND TO DO SO WITH the PROMISE OF DISTRIBUTION OF QUALITY CONTENT. This is a scam; the owner of the platform and their minions are stealing our ideas, our content now our tools. And our money. If you are too invested in your content and feel like you might get punished for using AI, contact me. I'll hedge a class action suit if other people felt ripped off and scammed.
I invested years into my writing and now have to go back and adhere to a disclaimer to all my stories because of AI, or I will be blocked, banned or deleted. I worry every article I write that the AI USED TO REVIEW ARTICLES IS GOING TO SAY MY ARTICLE IS NOT IN COMPLIANCE WITH GUIDELINES. Why shouldn't the writers get notifications when AI has been used to discriminate with bias in our writing? Why aren't there AI NOTIFICATIONS WHEN YOUR SHADOW is BANNED? This is abuse. And those who don't comply will be removed. So yes, I'll edit every single article I have ever made to include this horrendous gaslighting. So first, we have to use AI. Now it's not ok? For all you writers that don't know what AI IS, MEDIUM IS MADE OF AI? Why don't they say that on their main page and every single page there?
The medium should have to disclose and show who's writing has been suppressed or removed for political reasons and censorship. This is a censored platform that is warning that it's about to shut down. That's the only reason they would switch gears and suddenly demand we, as writers, put the disclaimer in. I think the medium should adhere to every story itself, considering it promotes the use of AI. I screenshot the guidelines a long time ago clearly stating to use AI GRAMMARLY. We have all been played with and used to make billions of dollars in profit, and they don't care about the user's content. I feel like my life purpose has been taken away. I will recommend all writers remove their content immediately and save it on a disk drive or their device- every story because we will soon be allowed to write personal pieces about our days. Without editing. Why would anyone want to read that? This is by far worse than Twitter. I'm outraged! and the people need to stand together and make a circle.
