Licences Plates & Registries in Canada

Licence Plates in Canada are changing to help assist in catching traffic violators. They will be microchipped for scanning purposes compatible with devices like red light cameras and speed traps. We will no longer be issued registration stickers. Laws are changing. Maybe we should consider changing our driving? This math equation will benefit you if you use it.

How do you work out distance, speed and time?

There’s a simple formula that governs the three, and it can be expressed with either variable as the subject of the equation:

Distance = speed * time

Time = distance/speed

Speed = distance/time

So pull out your calculator; pretend you are driving down the road, and you see your destination sign reading, 75 km distance to go; divided 75 by the speed you are travelling (let's pretend 110kms/hour) then x 0.6 (for one hour) press equals and you will see how many minutes it will take you to get where you are going. In this case, just over 40 minutes.

The actual Benefits of doing this equation

  1. Going a whole extra 10kms…
