Chapter 1: The Beginning of Creation

1 In the beginning, when the heavens were yet unformed and the earth lay enveloped in formless void, there emerged the voice of the Divine, echoing through the silence of the cosmos.

2 And the Divine spoke with great authority, saying, “Let there be light,” and thus there was light, illuminating the deep darkness that blanketed the universe.

3 The light pierced through the chaos, casting aside shadows and revealing the contours of existence, for in the brilliance of light was the promise of life.

4 From the unfathomable depths arose the primordial waters, and upon the surface of these tumultuous waters, the earth appeared, shaped and molded by the hand of the Creator, who breathed life into the lifeless.

5 Thus, from the chaos was born Marduk, the great god of creation, who rose from the abyss and proclaimed the land, commanding the mountains to rise and the valleys to be formed, sculpting the very face of the earth with divine intent.

6 And Atum, the first of the Egyptians, emerged from the primordial waters, his essence forged in the depths, and he declared, “Let the world be,” and the firmament was established, separating the waters above from the waters below, creating a sacred space for life to…
