Most people with money don’t really care for frugal articles. They pass them by thinking they have enough money to do whatever they want. But do they? Would you be honest if you mismanaged your finances? Many people need to rethink spending but cringe at the words’ sound, frugal, or minimal, even tightwad or cheapskate. What they are not telling you is that they are cheapskates. I cringe as I type it….
People that know me know I worry too much in general. When it comes to money, people see the side of me that is carefree and generous. The last thing I want people to think is that I’m a cheapskate, tightwad, frugal, minimalist. But I am! And you’d never know it by looking at me. I have plenty. I’m doing just fine, thanks! Why don’t I want people to know? How many people are there out there, thinking the same thing?
First Christmas
Well, it started with my first Christmas. Unlike most North Americans, I celebrated it at 5 years old. I remember exactly what I wanted. A raggedy ann doll with straps on her feet to dance with. Not a little one. One that would be my friend.
