Grammarly stats for this week – are you writing too much?

Is This Real?

My 14 year old son says that Grammarly stats must be bogus cause all the schools use it. He thinks it just tells everyone similar stats. He doesn’t get stats from the school version of Grammarly.

Not to be the first to argue with a teenager, but is he right or do I write more than 99% of all Grammarly users?I had a bad couple days. I keep having issues. Just little things. I have a roof over my head, food – I’m not really tired, but I feel like staying in bed.

It popped up in my promotional section of my internet email. It was staring at me through the screen of my phone. This little notifications stating this week’s Grammarly stats.

My fingers don’t hurt, but I play piano and am notorious for having tiny solid might hands. So why did this email keep bugging me?

I felt irritated. I opened it and had a moment. I realized I’m write over a 1/4 million words a week. It haunts me. For that kind of 14 hour days on my computer I should be getting paid accordingly. Of course I am a technical writer and have sophisticated software to assist formulating my article content to organize and polish my writing.
