Facts on Frogs

Frogs breathe through their skin. We are making them very susceptible to contamination, pollution and other environmental changes happening right now. Frogs have impeccable instincts, allowing them to fluctuate their populations to adapt and survive these environmental conditions.

We can learn a lot about the health of our environments from the ecosystems around us. Tree and Wood Frogs of Central Alberta’s grasslands are observable in many changing environments with a gestational period. With everything from agriculture development to pollution affecting the species.

The amphibian population is rapidly declining.

Local governments intervene in St. Andrew’s Museum is not disregarding to help raise awareness of the species’ decline and help conserve them. The St. Andrew’s Museum may hold some large amphibians, and many are the world-famous Bamboo Frogs!
